Making CelerX Simpler & Safer
We're thrilled to announce a major upgrade to CelerX — designed to make onboarding and operating embedded card programs simpler and safer than ever. Born from our own need for seamless yet secure payment experiences, these features offer the easiest path to launching cards.
Today we're shipping the largest update to CelerX since launch. It touches onboarding, card issuance, transaction monitoring, and the dashboard — all guided by a single principle: make the safe path the easy path.
Onboarding is now a guided, multi-step flow that adapts to your business model. Tell us whether you're issuing consumer cards, B2B expense cards, or a hybrid program, and the dashboard reshapes itself to match — including the API keys, webhooks, and compliance prompts you actually need.
Issuing a card is now a single API call with sensible defaults. Funding source, spend controls, expiry, and metadata are all first-class fields. We've also added programmable spend rules so you can express things like "only travel merchants between 9am and 6pm" without writing your own rules engine.
On the safety side, every transaction now flows through our risk pipeline before authorization. You'll see real-time risk signals in the dashboard, and you can subscribe to them via webhook to plug into your own incident response or fraud workflows.
We're rolling these changes out gradually over the next two weeks. Existing integrations will keep working — the new features are opt-in. As always, we'd love to hear what you think.
